HAZCHEM PLACARDS
Hazchem placards printed on self adhesive vinyl (sticker) that can be applied to the vehicle directly ( suggested for single load convenience) just remove when off loaded. We will require the relevant information which has to appear on the placard for example U.N. Code of the product being transported, Operator telephonic advice as well as an Emergency telephone number that can provide authorities or emergency personal with details of the load as well as routes etc.
Hazchem placard frames or holders are designed specifically for the organised and secure display of placards that have been printed on an A.B.S. board (plastic) or on a chromadek board (steel powder coated) so that the hazchem may be reversed in case of not carrying a load. We manufacture 3 types of frames as described below.
FRAME TYPE 1
This type 1 frame is made from top grade chromadek manufactured in house to our specs they accommodate a hazchem sign board measuring 750mm x 450mm. They are what we refer to as a side slide and have a removable slot that has a lockable latch. These frames are easily attached to the vehicle via common "pop rivets" or self threading screws.
FRAME TYPE 2
This type 2 frame is made from mild steel manufactured in house to our specs they accommodate a hazchem sign board measuring 700mm x 400mm usually a steel board. They are what we refer to as weldable and have a retaining latch which secures the frame that holds the sign board in place. These frames are often welded to the truck under body or chassis or custom fitted to the customers design.

FRAME TYPE 3
This type 3 frame is made from stainless steel manufactured in house to our specs they accommodate up to 5 hazchem sign boards measuring 750mm x 450mm A.B.S. They have a lockable retaining latch and are a great way for storing your boards safely and securely.
DANGEROUS GOODS WARNING DIAMOND
The purpose of the orange warning diamond is to indicate that the truck tractor is hauling or carrying a dangerous goods load. It is a reversible diamond orange/white the frame/holder is made from chromadek and the insert is made from A.B.S. (plastic). These diamond holders are also made from stainless steel and we also do a fold able type.
TREC CARD or TREM
CARD
The Transport Emergency Card, or sometimes referred to as a trem card is a document containing a detailed description of the dangerous load being transported and important information for emergency procedures. The card is valid for 3 years from date of issue.
DESIGNATED SPACE OR DOCUMENT HOLDER
Document holders are manufactured in house to our spec and come in 2 types one being a bag with Velcro attachments these easy fasten to a cabs interior carpeting or can be mounted else where. The second type is a metal box to be mounted at the customers discretion.
PROHIBITORY SIGNS 3 IN 1
Printed on vinyl (sticker) Plastic or steel, we do all 3 the required prohibitory signs in 1 to make it easier to apply and keeping them at a nice equal spacing and correct angle.
FIRE EXTINGUISHER BRACKET
Fire extinguisher brackets manufactured in house either made from mild steel or stainless steel.
